Malik Mitchell is a 16-year-old African-American male who inherited special abilities from his father. Bored with their normal life, Malik suggests to his father that they should do more with their abilities like become heroes. His father, Marcellus, is completely against it so Malik must keep his crime-fighting nights a secret. In this father and son story, Malik will juggle teenage life, Sycamore City on the brink of a gang war, strange visions, and figuring out his abilities. Marcellus will struggle with keeping his son, Malik out of danger.
